One last Halloween post, I swear! So the boys went trick-or-treating last night and came home with an unbearable amount of candy. I remember when Griffin was 2 and went out on his first Halloween night...he went to the first house next door to mom's and got one chocolate bar. He was so excited, he plopped right there on their step, dreamily enjoyed his candy, and couldn't believe his luck. He thought that was it...one mini Milky Way was all it took...he was ready to go home. So precious.
Now I am prying it out of his hands and insisting that he brush his teeth every 15 minutes.
Oh, and Grady got his first taste of the good stuff. He ate through the paper to get to the neon blue sugar bomb...but knowing Grady, he probably enjoyed the paper more.
Enjoy the sugary goodness below.

We go by the one piece of candy per good meal eaten rule. Snack time not included. So they get 3 pieces a day for now and one of these days they will forget to ask. I am starting to put a time limit too. They cannot remember 3 hours after lunch that they forgot candy. Too late.
we have a similar rule here in our house...great idea about the time limit...you must have 3 times the amount of candy that we have!
We got about 14 pounds of candy here at our house! Grandpa came back about half way through to get a bag to empty their bags into.
